About us
J&S was founded in 2003 by John Lombard. John has been in the industry for over 51 years, starting his apprenticeship at the tender age of 15 working for British Gas formally known as North Thames Gas.

After a wonderful 19 years working his way to becoming a qualified
emergency service engineer, John left British Gas and founded K&T
heating (named after his children Kara & Tom) in 1988.
After a very successful 15 years that employed over 80 members of
staff, John wanted a new challenge and decided to sell and start a
small independent sole trading company known as J&S Property
Services.
His son Thomas who started in the industry in 2005, learnt his trade
and in 2007 became a fully qualified heating and gas engineer.
Tom joined J&S alongside his father in 2010 and after a few years
working side by side, John sold the Business to Tom in 2013 and has
gone from strength to strength ever since.
